Mafuyu Sato (佐藤 真冬 Satō Mafuyu)
17 years old. Highschooler. Guitarist (in-training) and Vocalist in the band Given.
Quiet, introverted, blunt with his words when he can be persuaded to talk though. Seems aloof and stand-offish until he becomes more comfortable around you, but with those he has known a long time he will tease and poke at them with deadpan snark. Mafuyu's hesitance to speak started in childhood when his father (now absent) used to beat him when he talked. After his newly met friend Yuki coaxed him into telling the authorities about it, his father was taken away and things got better. However, he's backslid a little since then due to certain circumstances. Being in a band has changed Mafuyu's attitude towards music and he takes it very seriously, diligently practicing his fingerwork on the guitar and working on his vocals.
Mafuyu has light hair and eyes, a sort of messy and careless way of dressing, and carries a guitar with him most everywhere he goes. He has a small pomeranian dog named Kedama (nickname Tama-chan) who is very excitable. Kedama was a gift from his mother to coax him into being more lively and outgoing. It hasn't exactly worked.
